Make & Take: My Earthbox Junior

  • Grow & Gather 24565 Dewdney Trunk Road Maple Ridge, BC V4R 1W9

Earthbox Junior systems are ideal containers for a young gardener's first garden plot! We'll help budding gardeners plan and plant their very own colourful purple or lime Earthbox with veggies and strawberries of their choosing. We'll begin with some plant "starts" for an instant result, and add a few seeds for a surprise down the line. When they are all done, they'll take the gardens home to a sunny spot on the patio. This class is designed for gardeners aged 4 through 12; please plan to supply grown-up assistance for children under 7. Kids are welcome to bring their own gardening gloves and aprons. One Earthbox project may be completed between two children, but only if they promise to share!

Capacity: 12 Earthboxes (max 24 children)
Fee: $40 per Earthbox; take-home value is nearly $70.
